Refund Policy

At ALMAS Indian Cuisine, we take pride in preparing high-quality, authentic gourmet dishes. Because our food is cooked fresh to order, we maintain a clear policy regarding refunds, order modifications, and cancellations.

1. Cancellations and Changes

  • Takeout Orders: Once a takeout order is submitted and our kitchen begins preparation, it cannot be canceled or modified, and refunds will not be issued.
  • Immediate Cancellation: If you realize an error immediately after ordering, please call our restaurant directly at +1 416-385-7979. If the kitchen has not started cooking, we will make every effort to cancel or adjust your order.

2. Quality or Order Discrepancies

Your satisfaction is our priority. If you receive an order that is missing items, contains incorrect items, or does not meet quality expectations, please contact us immediately:

  • Keep the items in their original packaging and contact the store within 2 hours of pickup.
  • We will review the issue and, at our discretion, provide a replacement, store credit, or a refund back to your original payment method.

3. Refund Processing Time

Authorized refunds are issued back to the credit card used for the online transaction. Please note that banks and card companies typically take 3 to 5 business days to post the refund credit to your account statement.

4. Catering Event Deposits

Catering cancellation terms, including deposit non-refundability windows, are outlined explicitly in each individual catering agreement signed with ALMAS. Generally, cancellation deposits are non-refundable within 7 days of the scheduled event.
